Description
All of our fabric flags are custom printed to your unique specifications, making them the ideal way of promoting your brand and grabbing attention. We produce fabric handwavers in house at our head of in Cambridgeshire, allowing us to ensure that all of our handwavers are produced to the highest quality. Our custom fabric handwavers allow you to choose your ideal size, shapes, designs and handles when ordering, making sure that your handwavers show off your brand and also suit your usage requirements. We assemble all of our handwavers before despatching them, providing you with a hassle free service.
We have been producing flags for over 40 years and have the ability to produce thousands of handwavers at a time. We have experience in producing and supplying big orders of handwavers with short turnaround times, making sure you get your hand waving flags in time for your events and celebrations. Our fabric handwavers have been used by some of the biggest brands in the UK including the likes of Aston Martin and Chelsea football club. We have also produced fabric handwavers for national events including the Royal Wedding.
Alongside our custom printed fabric handwavers we also offer national hand waving flags, so whether you need a Union Jack handwaver, Scottish handwaver, Welsh hand waving flags, Irish hand waving flags or English handwavers, we will have the right national hand waving flags for you.
Materials
We have a choice of materials including the budget friendly 68D Polyester and the higher quality 115gsm Knitted Polyester. Both of these materials are digitally printed, giving you the freedom to create your own custom designs. Digital printing ensures that your custom printed flags will display bright colours and crisp designs, making sure your hand waving flag stand out any event or celebration.
We have a choice of materials to choose from for our fabric hand waving flags, including:
115gsm Knitted Polyester -
Our standard flag material, knitted polyester is used both internally and externally. These flags are suitable for mirror image due to our digital print method. 90% of all flags produced in the UK are made from Knitted Polyester.
ECO Knitted Polyester -
This material is made from 100% recycled waste. It is fully recyclable (including in normal household recycling bins) and has the same properties as our standard 115gsm Knitted Polyester.

Fabric handwaving flags are a great way to celebrate events and special occasions.
All of our knitted polyester hand waving flags are produced to order, featuring your bespoke artworks. We can produce smaller and large quantities of fabric handwavers, making sure you have the right amount for your event. Please double check lead times with one of our friendly sales team for larger quantities.
All of our knitted polyester hand waving flags are supplied ready to wave, with the flag attached to the stick.
ECO Option
Our ECO Hand Waving Flags are made with a fully recyclable paper stick. The sticks are made partly from FSC certified recycled paper. This makes them ideal for using at large scale events and celebrations, reducing the impact on the environment and the need for one time use plastics. We can produce our ECO Hand Waving Flags using our ECO Knitted Polyester.
This material is made from 100% recycled waste, with approximately 2 bottles used for every square meter of material produced. Using our ECO Hand Waving Flags helps you to show off your brand and promotional messages in a more environmentally sustainable way.

File Specifications
For optimal results, please follow these guidelines when preparing your artwork files.
Accepted File Formats:
- Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
- Encapsulated PostScript (.eps)
- Portable Document Format (.pdf) - Preferred
- Scalable Vector Graphics (.svg)
For our print purposes, we prefer artwork created in Adobe Illustrator and saved in a PDF format. Vector graphics are ideal as they are easy to scale and produce better print quality.
Resolution Requirements:
- For Raster Images:
- 150 DPI at 100% of the final size
- 300 DPI at 50% of the final size
DPI (Dots Per Inch) measures the detail of an image. Increasing the size of a raster image can lead to blurriness or pixelation, which may not be visible on a computer screen but will show up in the final print.

Artwork Checklist
Before sending your artwork, please ensure you have reviewed the following checklist. If you need assistance, please contact us about our artwork support service.
- Artwork has been supplied on the correct template and falls within the ‘Safezone’.
- No bleed, crop marks, or registration marks have been included.
- Artwork has been saved in the 'Your artwork' layer, and the 'INFO' layer has been deleted.
- No notes, descriptions, or annotations have been included.
- All text has been outlined and all links (including images) have been embedded.
- Any raster images are of high enough quality and DPI. Zoom in to 100% to check for pixelation.
- Artwork is in the required file format, preferably PDF.
Please note that currently we only offer products with a mirror image finish through our online shop. For double sided flags or more information on the difference between mirror image and double sided please get in touch.
