We produce high quality Australian flags that meet strict design regulations. All of our Australian flags are produced at our head office in Cambridgeshire and are available as either hand sewn or printed. Our flags are finished with rope and toggle as standard.

Our printed Australian flags are also made from Spun Polyester, ensuring that they are made to the same high standard as our sewn flags. Spun Polyester is more durable than our standard 155gsm Knitted Polyester and is one of our highest quality flag materials. All of our printed Australian flags feature crisp designs and vivid colours, making sure they stand out and look prestigious for any display. Use alongside our GRP flagpoles for a high-quality display that is high quality and durable.

We have a highly skilled in-house sewing team who produce all of our sewn flags, ensuring our national flags are of the highest quality. They use Ministry of Defence approved material so that the flag is of the highest quality.

Our printed Australian flags are ideal for customers who want a higher quality flag which will be durable and look impressive when flown.

All of our sewn Asutralia flags are hand sewn in house at our head office in Cambridgeshire. They are ideal for prestigious and traditional displays.

Some sewn national flags feature very intricate details and designs, these flags may be produced with a printed panel, to ensure that no detail is lost.

Facts about the Australian Flag

The Australian flag is made up of a Blue Ensign, the Commonwealth Star and the five stars of the Southern Cross Constellation.

The Australian flag was first flown in 1901, featuring a 6 pointed Colonial star, representing the 6 British colonies. In 1908 the flag was updated to display the 7 pointed Colonial star.

The flag features the Union Jack, representing the countries historic ties with Britain.

The flag also features the Southern Cross Constellation which helped early travellers find the continent.

Delivery & Returns

Please note that we only offer UK delivery through our webshop.

Delivery

For stock items and flagpoles we offer a 3 working day lead time and a 3 working day standard delivery time. We will always endeavour to send orders out as soon as possible.

For most digitally printed products we work with a 7 to 10 working day lead time. These times may vary and are not guaranteed. For larger products such as Gazebos, these have a 12+ working day lead time. All lead times are from artwork sign off.

If you have specific lead time requirements or would like more information on our current lead times, please don't hesitate to contact us. We aim to meet all our customers deadline dates (some tighter lead times may be subject to an express fee).

Next day delivery is not available for remote areas, Channel Islands, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Highlands or the Scottish Isles.

Returns

We cannot accept returns of any of our bespoke products. All our products are quality checked before being dispatched. If you receive your products and they are substantially incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.

Stock items can be returned to us in their original packaging and unused, within 14 days of receiving your goods. The return cost will not be covered by House of Flags.

However, we can also produce our national Australian flags with bespoke finishings, including gold fringing, helping your create a traditional or prestigious display.

We can use the Australian flag design on a wide range of our products, including banners, display stands and signage. Can you produce angled Australian flags?

It is possible to produce angled Australian flags, however, as the design of the flag has to be altered when creating an angled flag we don’t recommend produced angled Australian flags. We can produce Australian flags that can be used with angled flagpoles, maintaining the correct design proportions.

Is there a size restriction when ordering an Australian flag?

Online we offer two sizes of Australian flag, 0.7sqm and 1.5sqm. However, we can produce any size Australian flag as long as the original flag ratio is maintained. If you would like a different sized Australian flag please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What Australian flags are available to buy online?

We have both printed and sewn Australian flags available to buy online. Both are produced using high quality Spun Polyester and are manufactured at our head office in Cambridgeshire.
