At House of Flags, we use the latest dye sublimation technology to produce high-quality Endurance custom flags that are both attractive and long-lasting.
Dye sublimation works by transferring your design deep into the fibres of the endurance polyester, creating rich, full-colour prints that won’t fade easily, even after prolonged outdoor exposure.
As standard, we produce mirror image flags, meaning your design reads correctly on the front and appears reversed on the back. This method is not only more cost-effective but also more durable, as it keeps the fabric lightweight and less prone to wear.
If you require your design to read correctly from both sides, we can produce double-sided flags, although these are heavier, have a shorter lifespan, and are not available through our online shop.
Our printing process is entirely in-house at our Cambridgeshire headquarters, allowing us to maintain strict quality control and deliver flags that meet the highest standards. Every flag is carefully checked to ensure your design is sharp, the colours are true to your branding, and the finish is flawless.
Installation
Installing your Endurance custom flag is straightforward, with a range of finishing options to suit different flagpoles and display needs.
For landscape flags, our standard finish is a rope and toggle, designed for flagpoles with a halyard system. Alternatively, you can choose eyelets or other fittings for easy attachment.
For portrait flags, the standard finish includes a top sleeve and eyelets, making them compatible with poles featuring a banner arm. Please note that flags with a top sleeve cannot be finished with a rope and toggle.
We also offer a variety of accessories to help secure your flag and enhance its performance, including flag restraints, antifray, flag weights, collars, and clips. These additions improve stability and reduce wear, helping your flag maintain its shape, even in challenging weather conditions.

Printing Methods
Digital Printing: Our in-house digital printing is ideal for smaller runs of 1-100 flags. Using advanced dye sublimation technology, we can print any design in full colour, with exceptional detail and accuracy.
This method is perfect for intricate artwork, gradients, and multiple colours, all with fast turnaround times. Digital printing is available for both mirror image and double-sided flags, for mirror image digital printing, please contact our team.
Screen Printing: For larger orders, screen printing offers unbeatable value, with the cost per flag decreasing as quantities increase. This method produces professional designs with up to 8 vibrant colours, making it a great choice for strong, simple graphics.
Our screen printers can handle sizes up to 5.8 m x 2.0 m. However, currently only digital printing is available via our online shop. For screen printing or bulk orders, please contact us directly.
Regardless of which method you choose, your design will be applied to our ultra-durable endurance polyester, ensuring your flag remains bright, sharp, and weather-resistant for as long as possible.
With our advanced printing techniques and premium endurance polyester, we’ll ensure your custom flags are eye-catching and built to last. If you’re looking to promote your business or add visual impact to an event, we guarantee exceptional results every time.
Our endurance polyester lasts up to twice as long as standard knitted polyester, making it ideal for continuous outdoor use. The lifespan will also depend on weather conditions and care.
Can I choose any size for my flag?
Yes. We can produce custom sizes to match your specific requirements. For very large sizes, screen printing may be the most cost-effective option.
What’s the difference between mirror image and double-sided flags?
Mirror image flags read correctly on the front and reversed on the back. They are lighter and more durable. Double-sided flags read correctly on both sides but are heavier and have a shorter lifespan.
How should I install my flag?
We offer multiple finishing options, such as rope and toggle, eyelets, or top sleeves for banner arms. The right choice depends on your flagpole type.
Do you offer design or maintenance services?
Yes. We can assist with flag design, installation, and maintenance, including washing and changeover services.
Ask us about our new Pollutant eating coating which we can apply to your flags!
EnhanceAir®, Powered by PURETiTM Light-activated coating that destroys air pollution.
When applied to outdoor advertising media, EnhanceAir turns any treated material into an air purifying surface that not only enhances human health, but contributes to the fight against global warming.
The coating is transparent and does not impact the appearance or durability of the ad itself.
Typically applied as the last step in the printing process.
No changes are required in the installation process.
It does not affect the recyclability of the material.
THE SCIENCE OF ENHANCEAIR: PHOTOCATALYSIS
When UVA light energy activates the coating, it starts a chemical process that turns nearby oxygen and water vapor into two powerful cleaning agents (OH-* and O2-*)
• These two cleaning agents convert pollutants into harmless minerals and gasses.
• The active mineral is a catalyst, so it is not consumed in the process. It continues to work as long as it is on the surface and has access to humidity and light.
• The process happens only at the surface and repeats constantly to clean the surface and the air that comes in contact with it.
Why NOx?
Nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2) are formed during combustion. NOx is harmful in several ways:
• It irritates airways and increases susceptibility to allergens.
• It combines with other pollutants in the air to create smog, acid rain, PM2.5 and ground level ozone, which contributes to global warming.
• Increases risk of heart disease, stroke, COPD, and lung cancer.
• It has a much higher Global Warming Potential than CO2.
NOx is an indirect greenhouse gas. It does not trap heat directly, but leads to the creation of other gases, like ozone, that are greenhouse gases. It is included on the list of gases that countries report in their greenhouse gas inventories.
EnhanceAir fights climate change and improves human health by destroying NOx and other pollutants. It helps lower the greenhouse gas footprint, but not the carbon footprint.
Proven Laboratory and Real World Results
Using a test based on the ISO 22197-1 standard, we pass a fixed amount of NOx across a treated surface where the air is in contact with the surface for only 1 second on average before being replaced by new polluted air at the same concentration. The concentration of NOx is measured as it exits the chamber.

For Raster Images:
150 DPI at 100% of the final size
300 DPI at 50% of the final size
