Mirror Image vs Double Sided Flags
Not sure which printing method is right for your project? We'll help you choose the perfect solution for your needs.
Understanding Your Options
Compare the key differences between our two flag printing methods
Mirror Image
These flags are printed on one side of the fabric only, allowing the ink to bleed through to the other side of the fabric.
Benefits:
- ✓Lightweight
- ✓More durable
- ✓Cost-effective
- ✓Faster turnaround times
Double Sided
These flags are made from two separate pieces of material. The design is printed on both pieces of material which are then sewn together. There is often a piece of interlayer laid between the two pieces of material to prevent show through.
Benefits:
- ✓Reads correctly from both sides
- ✓Less show through
- ✓Ability to print a different design on each side
Our Recommendation: We always recommend printing our flags mirror image as they are more durable. Double sided flags are often very heavy, making them difficult to display with a short lifespan.
