We have a wide range of materials available for our custom portrait flags. Each of our different fabrics are ideal for different situations and conditions. Our most popular custom portrait flag materials include:

Knitted Polyester

Through our online shop we offer 115gsm knitted polyester which is our standard flag material and used on 90% of flags. Knitted polyester is used both internally and externally. These flags are suitable for mirror image due to our digital print method.

Polymesh

This is a permeable material that is suitable for all mirror image flags and for medium to long term use.

Spun Polyester

This is a more traditional material which we use for our sewn flags. This material is suitable for both double sided and mirror image flags and is ideal for medium term use.

Endurance Polyester

This is our newest fabric, developed to be extremely durable and suitable for long term use. This fabric can be used for both double sided and mirror image flags.

Heavy Knitted Polyester

This is a thicker fabric that is great for double sided flags, this material is suitable for medium term use.

ECO Knitted Polyester

This material is made from 100% recycled waste. Approximately 2 plastic bottles have been used to make 1sqm of material. We can print vivid colours and crisp designs, making sure your promotional messages and branding stand out. Our Eco Knitted Polyester will provide you with an impressive looking display that is environmentally sustainable.

There are two printing methods that we offer for our custom portrait flags, digital and screen printing.

Digitally Printed Custom Portrait Flags

Digital printing is ideal for small and medium sized print runs, making it the more cost effective method when printing 1-100 flags.

Digital printing is also a fast process which means that you will be provided with shorter lead times and recieve your flags as soon as possible.

Our digital printers are capable of printing double and mirror sided flags. Using advanced technology they can also print any design and any colour, allowing you to create innovative designs that match your exact requirements.

Screen Printed Custom Portrait Flags

Screen printing flags is the most cost effective method of printing large quantities, the more you order the less you pay per flag.

The screen printing process allows for up to 8 colours to be printed on each flag. This allows you to create a flag with bold colours that stands out and looks professional.

Our screen printers can print up to a maximum of 5.8m x 2.0m.

We offer installation and maintenance to all of our customers. We can install your custom portrait flags and flagpoles to a high standard, making sure they adhere to safety regulations and look professional. We can also offer maintenance contracts on all of our custom portrait flags, making sure they are always looking their best and prolong their life span.

We also offer a range of flagpoles as well as a maintenance service and all types of flagpole installation. 

What is your standard custom portrait flag material?

We use 115gsm Knitted Polyester as standard for our custom portrait flags. This material is ideal for mirror image flags, as the design can be seen from both sides.

Are your custom portrait flags designed to be used alongside flagpole banner arms?

Yes, our custom portrait flags are usually produced with a top sleeve. This allows you to fit your flag to a banner arm so that your flag can be seen at all times.

What is the standard size for custom portrait flags?

As all of our portrait flags are made bespoke we do not have a standard size, however, our most popular size is 200cm x 90cm.
