Sewn national flags are a traditional and prestigious display tool. They are ideal for creating an impressive effect and are popular with big brands and hotels. We have supplied national flags for prestigious events such as state visits and the Royal Wedding, ensuring that your will be receiving the highest quality sewn flags.
As standard we produce our sewn national flags with a rope and toggle, this ensures that your flag is ready to fly when you receive it. We can also produce our sewn national flags with a variety of other finishings, including eyelets or sleeves. Our sewn national flags can be customised with special finishes such as gold fringing, to help you create an even more prestigious display.

Our in house sewing team are able to produce any sewn national flags in any quantity. We make sure that all of our sewn national flags are produced in coherence with all flag regulations. Some flags, such as the American flag, have strict design regulations. We make sure that we adhere to all of these regulations, making sure your sewn national flags are accurate and look impressive.
All of our sewn national flags are supplied ready to fly, finished with a rope and toggle as standard.
We can also offer installation at one UK site or sites nationwide. In addition to one off installation projects, we offer a contract option to help keep flags and banners up-to-date according to new promotions. Maintenance contracts are available to ensure your flagpoles are kept in the best possible condition.
We produce all of our sewn national flags at our head office in Cambridgeshire. Our in house sewing team have years of experience making sewn national flags and can produce them to the highest quality. We use Spun Polyester which is approved by the Ministry of Defence for their flags. Spun Polyester is highly durable and weather resistant, making it the ideal flag material to make our sewn national flags from.
Materials & Sizes
Our hand sewn national flags are made from spun polyester. A traditional looking and long-lasting flag fabric, approved by the MOD for naval flags. This material lasts at least 50% longer than our standard Knitted Polyester. This is suitable for people and companies wanting a great looking flag with added longevity.
All of our sewn national flags are available in bespoke sizes. No matter the size of flag you need our expert team will ensure that the flag complies with international and national regulations regarding national flags.

All national flags are produced to different sizes and ratios. It is normal to measure national flags in square meters.

Please note that we only offer UK delivery through our webshop.
Delivery
For stock items and flagpoles we offer a 3 working day lead time and a 3 working day standard delivery time. We will always endeavour to send orders out as soon as possible.
For most digitally printed products we work with a 7 to 10 working day lead time. These times may vary and are not guaranteed. For larger products such as Gazebos, these have a 12+ working day lead time. All lead times are from artwork sign off.
If you have specific lead time requirements or would like more information on our current lead times, please don't hesitate to contact us. We aim to meet all our customers deadline dates (some tighter lead times may be subject to an express fee).
Next day delivery is not available for remote areas, Channel Islands, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Highlands or the Scottish Isles.
Returns
We cannot accept returns of any of our bespoke products. All our products are quality checked before being dispatched. If you receive your products and they are substantially incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.
Stock items can be returned to us in their original packaging and unused, within 14 days of receiving your goods. The return cost will not be covered by House of Flags.
